Every Bamborgini client is offered a delivery route — a drive from our atelier in Modena to their destination, charted entirely on secondary roads. The routes are planned by our touring team, with overnights at hotels we have vetted for underground parking and quiet breakfasts.
Last month, an Inferno client asked us to plot a route to Chamonix. 842 kilometres. Three passes, two nights, no motorway. We accompanied them for the first leg. They sent us a photograph of the car, at dawn, at the summit of the Col du Grand Saint-Bernard.
The photograph is framed in the atelier entrance. The caption reads simply: "the long way home."
